Are there privacy settings for gift registries and / or wish lists?

When you create a registry or wish list, your list is publicly available online, on Target.com and in Target stores. Your friends and family can search for your registry or list on Target.com and in Target stores. Your registry or list may also appear in searches on TheKnot.com (and its partner sites), MyRegistry.com, making it easier for people to find your registry.

If you check the box next to Make my registry or wish list private across Target.com, Target stores and other registry or partner sites, your list or registry will be hidden, meaning people can’t search for the list on Target.com or in Target stores. A direct link must be shared with them.

To edit these settings once a registry or list has been created on Target.com:

1. Access your Target account.
2. Visit the Registry & Wish List page and select your desired gifting experience.
3. On your registry’s Home page, select Edit under your gift list name. 
4. Under the Registry settings section, check the box Make my registry or wish list private across Target.com, Target stores and other registry or partner sites.

Your shipping address, phone number and email address will not be visible to anyone who views or orders from your registry or wish list, nor will they be shared with other registry websites.
